Knowing, growing in & sharing in Jesus' love in Burscough & beyond

St John the Baptist Church (often known as St John’s or SJB) is a lively, Church of England, Church serving our local community.  We aim to be a friendly church that is welcoming for all, offering a wide variety of worship styles – a place for everyone to celebrate together.

Our vision statement is ‘Knowing, growing in and sharing Jesus’ love in Burscough and beyond’ and this statement is at the heart of all that we do.

We warmly invite you to connect with the church family and join in with our services, groups and activities.  Jesus invites us all to ‘come and see’ the joy of following Him.

The Start! Course introduces the Christian faith through six video-based interactive, small group sessions
