St John the Baptist Church (often known as St John’s or SJB) is a lively, Church of England, Church serving our local community.  We aim to be a friendly church that is welcoming for all, offering a wide variety of worship styles – a place for everyone to celebrate together. 

Our vision statement is ‘Knowing, growing in and sharing Jesus’ love in Burscough and beyond’ and this statement is at the heart of all that we do. 

We warmly invite you to connect with the church family and join in with our services, groups and activities.  Jesus invites us all to ‘come and see’ the joy of following Him.

Forest Church celebrates its 1st Birthday in August! We are having a drop in at AppleCast Farm between 1-3pm tomorrow, 14th August, come whenever you are ready. (Cobbs Brow Lane, Newburgh, WN8 7SF). It costs £3 to park the car, which includes a token for a free drink in their café. Animal food is 50p/bag. Wander round with our Scavenger Hunt sheets to see which animals you can find, meet up by the kid’s playground, or you could explore the garden centre, gift shop and café on site. ...
