The senior group headed off to the Lakes back in November, for their High Impact weekend, exploring the impact we can have in and around the world and that others have on us. Go Karting, Hiking, Running over hills, archery and Quad Biking made for an action packed weekend.

Both groups have restarted after Christmas, with the usual mix of fun and games. The senior group have been doing some first aid and will be off bowling too soon. Across the term they are thinking about building deeper friendships. We started by thinking about how well we actually listen, do we actually hear what people are saying and how we can get better at listening to one another.

In February the Junior group will be heading off for their weekend away, thinking about being brave –in life and in faith and what that might look like! So far this term they have been chatting about how to deal with stress and anxiety, and how to keep stress levels low. They have another chippy hike planned and a camp fire too, along with a pancake night and time to reflect on the things that are important to them.

Games and Grub continued to be a lovely safe place to chill out, eat toast and drink hot chocolate, while playing any number of different board games. Boom Boom Balloon and Articulate; seem to have been particular favourites of late.

The young adult and young people house group continues to meet regularly and it was great to worship with the youth worship group for the first time last week – they did a brilliant job of leading us all at the 7pm service.
